i know some ppl selling in KL. shd be around RM7xx-900. Not everywhere. So some get it from Ebay. I got mine from China.
I dun know abt the telco service center. Maybe Yeah. I do it myself. Keep trying til it works. Spent quite some times. Now GPRS and MMS both work :)
I got this phone from china 2 and have problems with:
1.)operating phone book - is there software to connect and load from PC adress book (i.e. MS Outlook etc.).
2.) i cant read chinesse lang :-(, so i cant find default password for mass operations (delete all phones from phone etc.).
The d66 is linux based, with Linphone (VoIP-client) installed. Linphone supports only GSM codecs, thats why there are no 3G or similar network related feautures. Can be hard to find some 3rd party nonJava programs that will work out of the box.

1) I am sure there are no software for us to sync the phonebook for this phone. Unless someone willing to write a software for it. So who knows ... but I am sure now nothing we can do but key in one by one ourself :(
2)Abt the password. I am not sure. I think i happened to read it abt from china website before but sorry i forgot the URL ... Try your luck 1111, 1234, 0000 ... tat's all i can think of ...
As i mention early, Nothing fancy apps we can install to this phone unless SOMEONE willing to write some for this phone. It is a good phone which support two sim cards and it come with Bluetooth somemore. TOo bad it just not yet perfect. Now keep it as a collection :)

I have the Anycool D66 a friend bought one back from China and gave it me at the weekend. problem and onlya small one but how do you turn the sound down? and also have bluetooth ring tones onto it can see where they are stored but cant find how to save or store and use as a ringtone.

hey i got one of these phones and i find it to be a very good buy, im just wondering if there is any way to turn on the sms sent messages?? which will enable a copy of every sms message you send to save, into a sent folder, very common with all other phones, just wondering why it dont work with this one.

I just got one of these phones and I am qiute impressed by it - the build quality is good and it has many features.
There are a few programs that will sync it with a PC i.e. http://www.mobtime.com/en/cpm/index.php and PC Sync manager.
I use the PC Sync program and it works well for the phonebook.

The user manual (in English)is a generic one and can be found at the below link. Once opened, at the top left of the page, click download. It is a good phone and works well in Australia (I have Optus and Telstra sim cards). The phone vibrates when second callers are calling if you are already on the phone. The SMS needs to set up through your provider. If you get a message unable to connect while trying to make a call, you need to go into setup and change from line 1 to line 2, or vice versa. Only downside is that the phone cannot be put on charge...so I have just purchased 2 other batteries.

Help please. I have a problem with this phone. In my phone book, I put the mobile number in format 04xx xxx xxx. When this person calls me, his name show up perfectly. However, if he sends me sms, it will show the number +61 4xx xxx xxx, without the name. If I change the number in phonebook to be +61 4xx xxx xxx, it will show the name when receive sms, but not when this person calls me. I got a workaround, putting both numbers in phonebook, this will work for both incoming call and sms. Is there any others way to solve this? Now that I have 300 contacts, I do not want to edit all 300 contacts to contains 2 numbers. Please help. Thank you.

DjSpiky here.. i got same prob wid ma d66 when i was trasferring via bluetooth my mobile got restart n then it new started properly as it detect sim card it restarts or else without sim card it work properly. then i do research i got to knw that it got worm so it has been corrupted all system files.. So i done flash with the help of cable n new software of chiness mobiles. n my problem is solved it only cost 1000 bugs i mean in ruppes??? so any body got prob then try to get to mobile reparir n say to flash n install fresh software in it

I just bought dual sim(on line at a time) chinez made phone by the name of A8+. Both the sim are working but the problem is that the sim on line 2 or b always shows Searching2 on the screen instead of network name. Line 1 or A shows the network name. Please tell me if my mobile set is faulty or it is normal fault in double sim phone. Though i can send and receive phone calls. Awaiting early reply to my query. Thanks
